Is a bad leg a death sentence?

Well I put the little guy down today. That sucked. He wasn't getting any better but I wanted to wait until the wife wasn't home and that the coop was down so dozer, we named the other turkey that because he walks around steps on or pushes the chickens out of his way, would not be in a cage by itself.
