Is a goose right for me?? Goose lovers, please help!

I have owned peacocks, ducks and geese since 1990. I have alot of experience. In my opinion I think an Emden goose would be the best because they are the loudest and largest. So many people come to our house and refuse to get out of the car until we shoo the geese away. They have used the crest of their wings to punch and it pack a good punch. I recommend 2 males because that is what we have. They both get along so well. always together, best of friends. I also recommend males because they are much more aggressive than females who are generally mellow. Our Emdens are very protective of their property. They get along with all our other animals, but when a pretator comes in he will chase it off. Once they were protecting our ducks from a fox and 1 of the males got a bite mark in his beak and his eye. They are very tough and also very loud.they need to eat good grass through the day and get a supplement of wheat feed or "goose" feed pellets am and pm. They do not eat meat as far as I know. They don't even eat worms that come out after a rain. I doubt if they will eat slugs. They do eat other things like fruit, veggies pasta and bread. If there is a certain fruit you want them to eat, like your tree droppings, I would introduce that in small pieces when they are goslings.
The Emdens get to be about 26 pounds, so they wont' be able to pass thru a decorative fence as adults. They do need a small pool or 10-30 gallon low bucket to get into to clean themselves each day.
I agree with the other people who recommend a dog, although dogs require excercise each day.
Also, the bigger the goose and more of them, the bigger and more droppings you will have in your yard.
good luck.
