Mine are so much quieter then my Maran, Welsummers it's amazing!

In fact everytime I hear Little Man crow I bust out laughing! He is not very loud at all.

Now what is hilarious is listening to the youngster Seramas starting to stretch their vocal cords! First time I hear it I couldnt figure out where that weird noise was coming from. Now when I'm on my front porch and hear it I laugh!

Getting rid of my Standard size roos....they are so flipping loud and start sometimes around 0330 and that is not nice even though all of us out here are on acreage.

I have to agree, I have a young pair in front of a window in my bathroom and its a very liviable crow. I do not see how they could bother your neighbor.

I know this is a very old thread, but my question fits in rather than starting a new one.

How old are they when they start to crow? I just got a pair 4 days ago. The breeder said this batch was just starting to lay eggs, The rooster has yet to do anything I would consider a crow. He looks like an adult rooster and more developed than my other full sized birds when they started crowing. He and the hen are inseparable. I would think they are lovebirds.

I love these birds!

Around 18 weeks for mine. He didn't crow for a while after we got him, but now he crows at the drop of a hat! Doesn't should like a crow except in rhythm.
