Is a simple door latch safe for a chicken coop?

Hey would love more photos of the coop but I would encourage another latch the type that has a hasp you flip over and turn to stop racoon from opening it

Of course! It's nighttime right now so I don't think I can get a good pic, but here's the link from where I bought it:

If you would like pictures of it in my yard please let me know!

Okay 3 is good there anymore they need 4 suare feet per bird but a great starting point later you can use to keep boys or raise littles or a sick coop lots of uses

Thanks for your advice! During the morning I open the door let them run around a fenced off area of my backyard, they're not in the coop all day. I'll get a pic of it tomorrow, do you mind giving me some advice on it?

More photos of your coop will help here; agree that you need to improve the latches, at least, and maybe more things will stand out with pictures of your coop and run.
Everyone loves chicken! Beware!
Mary

Thanks for your help, I'm uploading some tomorrow b/c it's nighttime right here.
