Is anybody else having a bum year?

we green house start all our palnts and up til planting time all our plants were huge and pretty.. tilled the garden, and put them out. (didnt seed start things like beans ans corn just planted the seed) and the whole darn thing went to nothing tomato plants 8ft tall but very few tomatos and they are nasty!! dont taste like tomatos at all. we planted 24 tomato plants 3 diff types 5 acorn squash 5 yellow squash 10 cucmber plants 3 20ft rows of bush beans 3 20ft rows of pole beans 4 rows of corn 3 rows each turnips beets collards and spinish and a veriity pack of salad greens.(lettuce) onions and carrots and radishes
and 2 green pepper
what have we to show for it all ???? 4 meals worth of turnip greens (never had a turnip on them just greens) a hand full of green beans 1 cucmber. nasty tomatos. one walnut sized acorn squash that rotten on vine. 1 yellow squash 3 inchs long and so ripe its a gourd.
so yeah our garden crapped out this year..too much rain!!!

Your garden sounds like mine. I was given cucumber seeds, started them in the basement with good success, planted them in the garden and found out they were buttercup squash. The plants take up about 1/4 of the garden and there are 2 squash growing on the 2 plants. That sucks. I planted tomatos in containers because the garden was under water, twice this spring, the tomatos got so pot bound that they quit growing. I took them out of the pots and put them in the ground and they are growing but are so far behind I can't see getting any ripe tomatos.
