Is anyone able to get my email address from here?

I got a very suspicious email from someone claiming to be from this forum advertising sales.
It screams scam. How was someone able to access the email address I registered with?

The only thing I can tell you is this. If I want to contact you thru this site, it goes thru PM, (Private message) And notification appears right hand corner next to your Login name. Small envelope looking thing. I can not get your personal email in any way thru this action. That I am aware of.

The scam email, is typical of scammers. Can your email program block selected senders??

Check your computer for viruses. Only thing I can suggest.

I'm not on a computer. I'm on my phone. I figured it would only send a message through this forum. My email blocks a lot of stuff but not everything. Lucky I know not to click on links. This says to me that someone got my registration details on the dark web likely. Oh well.

If you look at the bottom of any BYC page, you'll see "Contact Us" there. Click on it and ask about it. They can forward that to the techy admin folks.

I don't use my phone for this site, or my email site ether. So no experience there.
I'm sure others will read, and offer suggestions as to how things may have happened.
