Is Anyone Breeding Show-Quality Australorps?

I was hoping you'd get more responses. :( I've been wanting some bantam Australorps and haven't had much luck finding someone breeding quality ones of those, either. I'll be going to a summer poultry show or two here in Cali, and I'll get pics for you if I see any.

I did find some beautiful 'lorp pics online, but almost all show winners from Australia not the US. What I notice compared to hatchery birds is a different top line and angle of tail, large dark eye, and breadth of breast.

Show Cockerel. Notice how large and dark his eye is.

Thank you.

I am interested in the same! I love my sweet hatchery girls, but the more I try to learn about the standard and look at what I'm seeing in my birds, I am wondering whether I will even end up with one with the kind of topline I admire so much, let alone chest fullness or eye size! 😢 lol I was thinking at least if I were to get my hands on a better quality cockerel, it would be a start, but I'm also wondering if there's much point with my own hens.

Edited to add: I am hoping as they mature that their chests will fill out and the lines will improve. They are still so young. But I'm also noticing some very different tails. One in particular has this very cute pointy little super upright tail, where others seem to be overall more substantial, tapering to a point. I wonder if her little pointy thing is the "hatchet tail" I have heard described on another thread? lol No slope (flat back) and way more than 40%, that's for sure!
