My sis used to have a twin turbo Toyota Celica GT-4 coupe back in the day. Man…That car was so much fun to drive around town. Everyone at the stoplights would freak once they heard the gears change…Even the cops!

It was serious fun while it lasted until the damn turbo kept breaking down and needed fixing almost every year so she sold it to some guy out in California who had another one like it. We haven’t heard from him since lol

Ah well...
There's a rallying guy we slightly know, who has built a seriously fast Datsun.
But lately he has hardly been finishing any events because he has got everything so highly tuned that something or other keeps breaking.
I can't really see the point of it, yes that car could beat almost any other car, and yes he is a good enough driver to beat almost any other driver; but if you can't even finish....

But lately he has hardly been finishing any events because he has got everything so highly tuned that something or other keeps breaking.

Datsun’s can get up and go insanely fast. Almost too fast…I had a buddy in high school whose dad owned a ‘69 Datsun 240z that he had stol…-ahem- “borrowed” and drove to school one time. I got to sit in the passenger seat and went for a joyride with him flying down the highway in it. I’m actually kind of surprised that we didn’t die or anything cause that car had one of the lowest ground clearance’s I’ve ever seen and if we would have hit a curb or pothole while going full throttle at 201kmh there’s no telling what would have happened to us but we probably wouldn’t still be here today.

I'm just glad you didn't hit anything!
The fastest we have gone on the road was around 170kph, which still feels fast enough.
None of our cars have a that high top speed, and there is also the 'slight' issue of police cars.
By the way, despite living here all my life, I have only recently found out what truckies call mobile speed cameras. (the sort that is a van that parks on the side) 'Flash for Cash'!
Like, 'There's a flash for cash on the long straight mate'
I thought it was rather good!

I've had this to 150 kph.

I've had this to 220kph + on accident (I wasn't paying attention to the speedo, I was just enjoying the drive right after I got it)
