Yeah, the event that I went to here this past Friday night almost got cancelled again due to inclement weather. They ended up limiting the # of racers and closing down the track earlier than usual.

Yes I am! Leaving bright and early got premium parking so we're right next to the paddock and our first stop is to the bmw M4 GT3. I wanna see it upclose and in person
Supposed to be sunny, no clouds and upper 70's. If that stays true it'll be a great day

The 410 sprints is a very intense race. Even the 360 and the 600cc micros are fun. Just don't sit coming out a turn or you'll be bruised up from dirt. I'd bring safety glasses wherever I was sitting once 20 or 30 sprints start its like one big dust bowl. Sit high up and just before a turn.

It's an Electrameccanica Solo EV. They were built here in Arizona but they've discontinued them and issued buybacks for the 2nd and 3rd gen models due to them suddenly losing propulsion and dying. Shocked to see one show up on a drag strip, they're "city cars" and not designed for any kind of performance.

I’ve never seen one around here before so I was unsure as to what kind of car it was. Thank you, @azurbanclucker

(I wasn't sure where to put this, so say if it should be somewhere else )
I've got two main hobbies, chickens and cars.
More specifically, I'm really into rallying.
I navigate, so it's up to me to tell the driver where to go, as well as dealing with most of the organizing.
We are only just getting into it, so there's still lots to learn.
I also like driving myself, in the entry level events, and helping work on the car.
Anyone else interested?

I know this is the oldest, beginning post, but it made me smile. I love rallies. I've not had much opportunity to do them but I actually designed one for my son's birthday and we had a blast! I could really get into this.

I also like classic cars. In my 'old life' we went to a lot of car shows. I used to enjoy working on cars and always wanted to build my own from the frame up. The thought of being in my own garage, surrounded by tools and recreating one of these fabulous machines was something in my mind a lot. Car manufacturers lost me after muscle cars disappeared and they all look the same to me now.

I highly recommend finding out if there is a good car club near you, as the people in them here have been some of the nicest people I have ever met.
There are quite a few classic cars rallying, in fact sometimes more than any other car!

We were going to be competing on the weekend in a rally sprint, (which had already been postponed due to fire danger earlier in the year) but the forecast looks like this.

I bet its going to be canceled.
(the forestry will pull the permit, so their roads don't get cut up)
