Yeah, the event that I went to here this past Friday night almost got cancelled again due to inclement weather. They ended up limiting the # of racers and closing down the track earlier than usual.

Are you going the Fanatec GT World Challenge America event next weekend?
It's an Electrameccanica Solo EV. They were built here in Arizona but they've discontinued them and issued buybacks for the 2nd and 3rd gen models due to them suddenly losing propulsion and dying. Shocked to see one show up on a drag strip, they're "city cars" and not designed for any kind of performance.Whatever is the car in the back ground of this pic??!
But apart from that, there are some really cool cars there.
Thanks for taking all the photos!
I’ve never seen one around here before so I was unsure as to what kind of car it was. Thank you, @azurbancluckerIt's an Electrameccanica Solo EV. I know this is the oldest, beginning post, but it made me smile. I love rallies. I've not had much opportunity to do them but I actually designed one for my son's birthday and we had a blast! I could really get into this.(I wasn't sure where to put this, so say if it should be somewhere else )
I've got two main hobbies, chickens and cars.
More specifically, I'm really into rallying.
I navigate, so it's up to me to tell the driver where to go, as well as dealing with most of the organizing.
We are only just getting into it, so there's still lots to learn.
I also like driving myself, in the entry level events, and helping work on the car.
Anyone else interested?

I also like classic cars. In my 'old life' we went to a lot of car shows. I used to enjoy working on cars and always wanted to build my own from the frame up. The thought of being in my own garage, surrounded by tools and recreating one of these fabulous machines was something in my mind a lot. Car manufacturers lost me after muscle cars disappeared and they all look the same to me now.
