Is anyone else interested in cars and motorsport?

Now that I think about it…I don’t think I’ve ever even seen a petrol/hybrid/full EV pickup at any truck pulling events I’ve been to. All of them were diesel.

Diesels make way better torque than gas. There are 2wd gas classes in pulling, but I think a lot of those are blown methane.

Plus. We all know 4 turbines are the only way to party with a pulling sled. :p

Yes, that is very true indeed.

Sorry for all the ute talk, @Sussex19

I’ll hush now 🤫

'50 chev or gmc truck body over S10 frame with an LS swap. Dropped on coils with a 4 link and a 9 out back. All the adapters are available and it's almost a bolt-on conversion. Such pro street. Very wow.

Very wow? I'd say very meh. So mainstream. Everything today is being LS-swapped. When someone pulls up at work in a classic car that's been LS-swapped, I just roll my eyes and walk away. It doesn't take ingenuity or creativity to do the same thing as everyone else. Just money. I can appreciate the work people put into it however. And attention to detail. What I'd like to see is something MEL 462 swapped, but that's not likely.

It almost always just depends on how much time, effort and $ you put into your work and hobbies…

Yeah, I haven’t seen any of those around here either lately.
You'll never EV's because the battery would die halfway down the track. If it didn't go up in flames first.
Flames be everywhere regardless.
