Is Anyone Hatching on March 13th??

17 chicks so far... Mostly I've only gotten La Fleche, Delaware crosses. We shall see what happens next...

I had a weird thing happen with an egg last night...The chick had pipped part way down the egg then rested...When I got up in the middle of the night I checked on them and it had pipped again higher up this time and was zipping...I went to bed and figured it was going to be fine now...Well about an hour later I got up and found the chick still in the egg with it's whole leg hanging out of the lower first hole that it had pipped...The poor thing could not pull it's leg back in so it could push with it's feet to get the fully zipped top off and get out...I quickly reached in and snatched the top of the egg and it did the rest...I have never seen such a thing before!...Anyone else see this?

got one so far, second one JUST pipped! I watched it! i don't think i'll be moving the rest of the night!

No, I have never seen that. Guess she changed her mind. I have had a crazy hatch as well. 4 hatched Saturday, 4 on Sunday and today 1 hatched and 1 is pipped. I was going to give up and then I heard peeping. 3 days of hatches?
