Is Anyone Hatching on March 13th??

my temps have been fine and stable the entire time until today and todays day 20. i'm hoping they are moving around inside those eggs trying to get out! lol.

Today is day 20. We have 3 that pipped late yesterday/early this morning, but no further advancement since. Sometimes that happens, and then they'll be the last to hatch and be fine. We got our first chick this evening, though, a hardy little Easter egger! I love hatch day!

Eagle Eye Daughter noticed first pip this morning. So far, two out of 7 are out, a third will be out momentarily and a fourth egg is rocking like crazy. Not sure what is up with the other three eggs, but I'm pretty excited.

One hatched, 3 pips, several others rocking back and forth! It's only day 20. I won't start trippin' until Monday afternoon. LOL.

Today is day 22 and 4 more came out during the night. Geeze, when will they all come out like popcorn!

We have 16 healthy, active chicks. I committed a sin, though. One welsumme had made no further progress from bedtime last night, so when I removed the dry chicks from the incubator this morning, I helped it out. It seems to be having trouble getting straight. I may have to cull.

I have one lone BBS Orp egg in the bator, due today, that pipped about an hour ago. Lots of hope riding on this one baby since it will be a gift for Cetawin who lost the last son of Suede she had to a freak accident. Crossing fingers for a blue boy!

woke up to 10 hatched this morning

1 that is zipped but not fully out. and a few others that are pipped

they are beautiful

I've only ever had RIR and Barred Rocks....this is so amazing with the Brown Leghorn...they are a beautiful color
