Is anyone seeing my posts?

When I first joined BYC, I responded to a thread that was already started. I then added my own question. I received advice help and support. I also get responses when someone asks a question and I help them.Yet, every time I start my own conversation and ask for help, I get no responses. I’m not sure if I’m just annoying because my posts are long or if anyone is even able to view it? Am I doing something wrong... or just annoying? 😕

Let me go look at some of the threads you've started and I'll see if I can help.

I was able to find your posts under another persons posting. My suggestion is this: If you have a question, start your own thread. It appears you started your question for help within someone elses post. This could be the reason you didn't receive any answers.
I have also found if you keep your questions to the facts, add clear pictures, you will receive a quicker response.
If you want to tell a story, post that under the story section for those that want to read your story book. Otherwise, your "Shout Out" for help may be lost.
Just a suggestion to help you get a faster response. You report your a Paramedic and I am a BSN, RN therefore, you understand what I am saying when I make the suggestion to stick to the facts when asking for help.
Stay safe out there, my hope is to stop wearing masks to work someday but, I doubt that will ever happen. This Covid19 virus gene has already mutated and is causing us Nurses real grief in the Hospital setting. Ugg!

I have really long post too. Thankfully I always get a couple of responses. Usually if I am posting like you I am seeking guidance, assistance or suggestions. Recently though I had a really intense post. Something had tried to get into my coop. My duck was missing eggs that she was sitting on... where the coop entry took place is where the nest was. You get the drift. Long story short it was my dog and a shock collar is on its way. But I did not get a response and I even kept checking back because I really needed someone with experience to tell me what the first step was I should take. At the time I didn’t know it was my dog. I found out 3/4 days later.
I did realize I’m not very active on here unless I need something so I have made it a point to read through other posts and offer knowledge Ive gained if I can. This site has saved my butt atleast a dozen times I feel like that is the least I can do to give back.
So I wouldn’t take it personal. I don’t think it is anything you are doing wrong. Maybe it is the time of day you are posting. I notice if I post early morning I get many more responses.
Just an FYI... "I see you!" 😂

I love her like I would love a puppy. I’m move mountains for her.

I've just read your heartwarming post about your sweet duckling 🥰 . English is not my own language, so I don't have the language property to express how impressed I was by your story and how much I admire you. Hoping the best, please we would love updates.

You're not annoying, far from it!

I definitely understand how frustrating it can be to not get a reply, or much response to a post.

The above suggestions are great. Also, having detailed titles of your threads can make a big difference too.

Also, there are other tricky factors at play... when you post (day, time, etc.) how you write, who happens to be online / reading at the moment, etc. etc. etc.
