Is bloody stool always an indication of coccidiosis?

Howdy,
As of this evening my beloved bantam hen has been defecating what appears to be watery blood. All the research I've done says this is a symptom of the deadly coccidiosis bacteria but she is showing no other signs of illness.
Her appetite is verocious as ever and she's acting normal, drinking water, her comb and wattles are still a rosy red, and she laid an egg yesterday (she lays every other day give or take). I also fed her a tomato this morning but I don't know if that would make her stool red.
If anyone has ever had something similar happen or dealt with coccidiosis before please let me know if I need to be worried. I love my little lady very much and would be so distraught is something happened to her.

Usually coccidiosis does not affect adult chickens. They build up immunity to the protozoa. But things still can happen.
In over 20+ years of chicken keeping, I have not encountered coccidiosis in my small flock of pets. When I acquired new chicks,,, I just fed them medicated feed for initial growth period.

Copy and paste
How do chickens get coccidia?

Poultry are exposed to the parasite via their droppings, dirty drinkers and damp litter in their housing. Wet areas around drinkers are particular areas of infection. Coccidia can also be found in water that is not kept clean and free of chicken droppings.Sep 23, 2023

Consider treating with meds ;
Drugs like sulphonamides, amprolium & toltrazuril can be used in the drinking water to treat coccidiosis.

I have also encountered some traces of blood on some of my bantam eggs occasionally. I view this as an egg too large for the vent size.
Maybe your hen has some tears in her vent track. :idunno

Lets see what others suggest, and how to determine if it is indeed coccidiosis.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:highfive:
