No predator... but this gal always lays pretty soft eggs even though I have oyster shells for themnot to sure about that so I toss them , but your hens might need more protein or you got a predator trying to get your eggs
.... thank you!then she's not getting enough protein that's why she's pecking eggs, if thats the ccase may look into vitamin supplements for your water cause something is offNo predator... but this gal always lays pretty soft eggs even though I have oyster shells for them.... thank you!
I really don’t think that she is pecking it... it was barely cracked and I picked at it to see if the skin was still closed. It isn’t always cracked but her eggs are softer than my other eggs for sure... she is my Wyandotte and only lays about one egg a week...?? They all just started laying this summer....then she's not getting enough protein that's why she's pecking eggs, if thats the ccase may look into vitamin supplements for your water cause something is off
You’re right... but I don’t get very many yetIt's only one egg. Play it safe and toss it.
.... but from the advice so far that’s what I was leaning towards. Thanks, yall!!
