Creative spookiness takes time!!!! Don't rush the creative spirit !
(but if you do need to give it a kick-start...rub a little peanut butter with scratch grain mixed in on the pumpkin!)😉
Mine eat one every year! Here they are 2 years ago

It is an educated guess that my gang has had Mycoplasma Galliseptica (MG), I have not run any testing but may have to, if I wish to vaccinate my gang.

They had all the symptoms and the use of the Tylosin antibiotic helped the birds who where sick. MG is caused by a bacteria.

Mareks is caused by a virus (herpes) and there is no cure for it. There is a vaccine for this also. I have some of my flock vaccinated for Mareks. Wish they all were.

Anyways Clyde is doing well tonight I’ll continue the Tylosin for 3 days.
Glad Clyde is doing well.

Can you find & monitor any Aussie or southern hemisphere threads on BYC? That’s one of the things I did in 2022 when I was up in the night managing pain! @MaryJanet had a thread and a sweet bunch of hens. Also @Ribh was active…I don’t have time to check in specifically with them these days.
:(
I'm still posting, but not often.

Life is just too hectic for social media.

I haven’t got mine a pumpkin yet - I will get them one when I am back home next week.
Here is last year’s effort:
