Is Bucky's leg broken? HELP PLEASE

Bucky has been limpimg this morning. When ever he stands he lifts up his right leg. So I'm guessing that is the hurt leg. I don't know what could have caused this. Like I said I don't don't know what could've caused it. Maybe he fell of the roost and landed on his leg? Any help would be appreciated. He is a video of him walking this morning.

I don't think it's broken but it is hurting. Can you catch him? Check the bottom of his foot and leg for cuts or knots. I had a hen that was limping and I expected to find bumble foot or something along those lines but when I caught her and looked at her foot I found that she'd been in the mud (which is all we've had for weeks now!) and a rock had gotten stuck under one of her toes right where the toe joins the rest of the foot. The mud held it there and she'd been walking on it for who knows how long. I got the mud and rock off and she limped for another day or two (I'm sure it was bruised) but then she was fine and back to normal. Hope it's something easy for you, too.

I came home from school today and he is not limping as bad as he was this morning. It is hard to catch him even when he is limping lol!

I think he probably just sprained something. I don't think it's life-threatening but, as always, keep an eye on him. I've had one of mine limp like that and they were better within a few days, maybe a week.

no bumble foot right? Humm, maybe he stepped on something and hurt it.................

He may have hurt it jumping off something or chasing down a hen and made a too-sharp turn. Dutch had that happen once. Really, it would be best if he could be put in a dog kennel for a day or two to rest the leg, maybe give him a baby/low dose aspirin for pain every couple days for a week.

If they caught a toe nail it can cause limping too. I had a turkey hen rip one off and I swore she had broken a leg... just a toe nail, but it hurt.
