Is BYC Experiencing Cabin Fever?

So how does everyone amuse themselves when the weather keeps you inside? (Other than chatting on BYC, of course ).

I spend an inordinate amount of time watching TV. Weather channel, Discovery, History, I hate soaps and most game shows. Listen to music some. Need to get my good sound system worked on, and old school speakers re-coned, so it's not as mu h fun as it used to be.
Of course there are always chores or projects. We are going to work on yanking up old smelly carpet and putting new floors in,if we ever finish building fences.

I do puzzles, exercise, and watch Judge Judy. It takes me a couple of hours to tend my critters, so that keeps me busy too. I'm trying not to post much due to some treatment lately by a few wayward members. . You have sucked me back in.

What sort of puzzles OHLD? I do a lot of crossword puzzles. I do like jigsaws but with 3 crazy cats in the house, no jigsaw would be safe around here.

LOL! It's more of a twitchy can't sit still type of cleaning. I am super easily distracted so end up with a bit of crazy straightening at the end of the day.

We have 4 dogs total here.
A ten year old 110 pound sugar of a dog named Jack. A one year old Malamute named Delilah. A second one year old pitsky named Sable. Then there is a 16 week old black and tan coon hound named Tilly. The baby is already 40#.

Play gets rough unless I am right there. Sable end up in the short end of the stick way to often.

I did a lot of baking last year. This year I decided to resist that urge.

Must be fun having 4 of them! You might be surprised by how rough cats can play too. I'm always having to rescue one poor guy in particular.

They are a hoot! Most of the time all is mellow enough with the play. It gets crazy when one steals a toy and takes off running.


My poor old guy can hardly get out of the way.

I do agree that cats can be very rough in their play!
I was in the ER years and years ago with one of my kids. A guy walked in absolutely shredded from the shoulders down both arms!

Turned out his cats actually started fighting and he grabbed one in each hand. Not the best decision.

Yeah, I don't intervene in cat play.

I mostly do jigsaw puzzles. 1000 piece. I occasionally do cryptograms and Fill ins for other puzzles. No cat in the house, but I gotta watch it because my dogs will eat any puzzle pieces I drop on the floor.
