I have a question...why is it that the harder you try to avoid someone, the more of their posts you see? There's no getting away, no thread is safe!

Possibly just sods law - although if it is me it's coz I'm following you about

Its no wonder my 17yr old doesn't want to learn to drive.

My 17 (heading to 18) year old boy is the same -he is moving to Holland in a year or 2 to be with his girlfriend so is happy just to have a push bike - th ewhole set up over there is amazing for bikes though and it is as flat as a pancake so all good! The 12 (nearly 13) year old (going on 23) is counting down the days until he can get a moped (14 here) or as he is worried about the lack of cool factor on that one so hopefully will wait to get a small bike licence at 16. I'm hoping he'll end up to just decide to wait for a car licence! Not sure my stress can deal with it! At least we are in the country with very little traffic!

Don't get me talking about bad driving. I have a dash cam and some of the things I see are insane. I don't know if you have a particular make of car over there that tends to be driven badly but over here it is normally BMW or Audis! Am I allowed to say that!

We have a special saying for those that drive the ultimate driving machine. It can't be repeated here but it's appropriate in our area.

My Jeep blew up a few weeks ago. Down to my dodge 1500. Sigh, looking for a new vehicle.

My jeep also blew up a couple months ago. I'm down to stealing my brother's (he's my neighbor) car when I need to go somewhere. Thankfully he's a night owl so he doesn't mind me sneaking in to grab his keys as long as I put gas in it occasionally. LOL

Honestly I don't know how a lot of people in my town can stand not to have their drivers license. Not having my vehicle is one of the many things driving me crazy at the moment yet these people have never had a license and are anywhere from 20-65!

I say, "As an independent woman you WILL learn how to drive."
