Bone broth ran about 48 hours in crockpot and congealed after two days in fridge. Dog loved it so wondering if it's a healthy treat for hens.

I've used chicken broth as a growth medium for bacterial studies so I'd give it a good boiling, serve it hot in small quantities for fast consumption.

Then there is the whole mad cow thing. Serving meat scraps or bone scraps to the same species isn't a good idea.

Or maybe I'm paranoid about such things.....

Mad cow was feeding raw cow brains to cows...so significantly different than feeding cooked chicken broth to chickens.

That being said, there's always the chance of chicken zombies! 🧟‍♂️
