I hope your comment to "Do a little more research, specifically on Ruminant Nutrition" wasn't meant to suggest that the research already done and posted was invalid. Comparing Michel Pollan to Hitler or Goebbels (on ANY level) was uncalled for. Personally, I would rather hear what he has to say than some of the so-called experts. Many of us on here want what is best for our chickens, not just what the experts would have us [i :
believe[/i] is best, regardless of what 'research' they have to back it up.
We all have our own biases; i know I do, and it appears you do as well.

Michael Pollan is the "so-called expert". He is a Journalism Professor from Berley with no training in nutrition, biochemistry, microbiology. He has not conducted research on ruminant nutrition nor tested any feeding programs.
