100% a female. It's entirely possible Daisy is already laying and just hiding her nest from you if she has access to lay somewhere other than a nestbox. Most of the single-combed light Mediterranean breeds develop a large comb like that regardless of the gender although females will usually lay over. I'd guess she's an Ancona as they are usually more common than an Exchequer Leghorn. I'll tag @The Moonshiner as he's a bit of a Leghorn expert. He might be able to identify the breed.Hi there,
im new at keeping chickens. We bought this one as a POL pullet but her comb has grown massively and she is not laying yet, 6 months on. she doesn’t crow but behaves a little different to the others. Could it be a rooster?
