Is it the same or similiar, and if so or not, why? Which is the better choice to use to keep the litter dry, etc? I can get the Sweet PZD here, but not the DE. The PZD does a good job keeping the shavings dry, but have read that the DE is good for worms, lice, etc. What about the PZD there?

Sweet PDZ is not food grade DE.

Do a search for 'pdz' and you'll find a lot of threads on this topic, and why it should not be used in the same ways as food grade DE.

This is a common question.

Ok, so I did a quick search for PDZ and got these among a bunch of other hits. That search feature sure is handy...

Good grief! I need to learn to use that search thingy more. Thanks. I even saw one place there where I had asked something about Sweet PDZ last year. (That's what old age and short term memory does for you. LOL) I haven't had any luck at all finding DE around here, but maybe I could make a special request at the feed stores and get someone to get me some. (Food grade, I know) Thanks so much.
