Is Diatomaceous Earth safe for coturnix quail??

kid, the poster has asked numberous times to drop it and let it go... why is the youth so concentrated on making a point and being right. sorry to step in however i couldnt take it anymore. you keep trying to kick somone when their down. move on... stop responding to it. we like positivity in these forums not a stupid arguement about DE being lethal or not, buy food grade not pool or roach killer stuff! thats all. everybody be happy

DE food grade is safe for anything that's not a bug. Heck, at my house it doesn't even kill bugs.

I have a friend using it every 2-3 days for snail control in the garden. Guess it's a good thing a dab will do ya.

here where I live it is 70% +++ RH year round it is pretty worthless LOL I also live in between the Great dismal swamp and the marshes of the Elisabeth river again my ground stays wet year round making de pretty worthless

Yes, food grade DE is the only stuff I use. It should only supplement 2 percent of a quails diet though. So you don't need a lot.
