Is Florida Betony safe for silkie chicks to eat?

Hi!
I have several silkie chicks that are 3 and 4 months old . My backyard is full of lush green Florida Betony tops. Can I let my chickens eat it?

Dont see why not, but "letting" them eat it might not be a problem. My yard is full of the stuff. My ladies ignore it.
