Rusty Blackhaw- Is It Safe for Chickens to Eat?

I have some rusty blackhaw trees producing berries this year and I was wondering if it is safe for chickens to eat them.

According to the internet, people can eat them, but I know that doesn't always mean that chickens can.

Seeing as is a berry, I’d say it’s fine

You can place a few in there and see what they do. Chickens are usually pretty good about avoiding poisonous plants as long as they have a choice

I will try that once they become ripe! They are still green. I believe they ripen in fall.
