As you see there though, Cuil is the next major contender, but is still a new egg at the moment. You could say it just hatched I suppose being that it is live and useful.
You'll get better search results just by learning how to use Boolean operators to your advantage. Which search engine you use doesn't matter if you don't know how to search smart.
(Google "Boolean operators" if you want to know what I'm talking about...).
* Most of the time, Google responds with too many sites for my phone to handle, and it seems much of it is in pdf format which I can't access. However, I haven't generally felt that I was missing out too badly with Yahoo. I don't often feel the need to wade through 3 million responses to a search.
