I gave our 15 week old duck vegetables (corn and peas) about 2 days ago and he’s been pooping green ever since. Both the solids and urates go from dark green to mint color depending on the poop. The duck seems to have as much energy as usual and the texture of the poop is normal. Just the color of the poop is off. The only change is that we’ve been letting him in the run and he’s been eating dirt. No grass, however.
Should I put my duck on a probiotic? If so, much per quart? Thanks in advance.

I only have chickens, but yes green poop is very normal if they free range. Just grass and other foliage.
He isn’t getting any grass, though. Just dirt, food, and the vegetables we gave him the other day.
