Pattern for starters is the dead give away. Boys are double barred so they appear lighter than the girls who only have a single barring gene. Also the growth/redness of the comb combined with the age of just 8 weeks.

Dominique's are an auto-sexing breed, you can tell by their coloring even at hatch.

Super annoying that the farm store sold him to us as a female :-/ Could have saved the food $$ and the bonding/love ;-)
