Is he a splash copper marans?

This guy accidentally got mixed in with some of my Orpington chicks last year and the lady I bought them from said she was hatching some marans chicks for a friend at about the same time (she has been wonderful about the whole thing

). What do you think? If not any other ideas of what he might be?

I think he is too small to be a marans. Don't they have red lobes too????

I have no idea about the lobes. I don't know anything about marans. I will say that he is still young and just starting to get his "man feathers" like the saddle feathers etc lol so that could be why he is a little small. If not marans any ideas? The person who hatched keeps her chickens seperated so I don't think he is a mixed breed.

Well his legs and beak are close to the right color...but I'm no Marans expert.

Marans should have red earlobs.

Not a marans. He just doesn't look right.... beak shape, body shape is off.... ear lobe color is wrong.

Ok consensus is he is not a marans. Now comes the really fun part

what does everyone think he is. I have looked around and have no idea what he might be.

I don't think part leghorn. Just because he should be lankier, with a larger tail, and a bigger comb.

I have no clue. His body is big, and his head so tiny.... he's super cute, whatever he is.

Maybe a blue/splash Andalusian cross? Idk, just grasping a straws. Andalusians have "petite" heads, slate legs, straight combs, whiteish earlobes...
