Is he cold?

I have just 1 jumbo quail that I found hatched 90 minutes ago. Since then he has made little noise and staggers to get in a corner or between 2 eggs. Is he cold? Will he be ok? I don't dare open the incubator as I see a few more eggs with pips

He shouldn't be cold - it should be nice and toasty in there! My chicks (Chicken, not quail, though) did a lot of staggering around and wedging themselves into odd spots while they figured out what legs are for, and dried their fluff out.

Ok thanks, he is my 1st chick ever for anything. I have been a nervous wreck since I'm new to this whole thing.

No worries! My four little Seramas are the first chicks I've ever hatched, and I'd gotten my first store chick just two weeks before they popped. The Seramas were two weeks old yesterday!
