Is he pretty? Or ugly? Please help us decide!

I'm gonna be honest here. I love the blue coloring in his feathering but I would not keep him. I would find him a good home.

Miss Rosie usually accompanies Miss Chloe the Silkie hen. She even layed her eggs under Miss Chloe to have them brooded, but then took over mothering duty when the chicks hatched. DS the ten year old wonders, "could this be the offspring of Chloe? She's somewhat blue." I wonder if Silkies ever make Smooths? (is that a real word?)

If both parents are black/split blue, they can produce blue offspring. Neither pretty or ugly. He is very interesting in a truly funky manner.
