is hens yelling while laying normal?

I mean I can imagine popping an egg outs not fun, but I was wondering if it's an indication of problems? I dont know if the outdoor quail yell while laying but this girl lives in my room so it's hard to miss her sitting on her nest and crying consistently when laying an egg.

It's pretty normal for them to do a whining sound. Some people call it the egg song.

It’s kind of like a cartoon missile falling sound. When we hear it we say “bombs away”

Yes definitely normal, mine let out a screech as they lay.

Everyone one of my hens sing the egg laying song. When we hear it one of the kids will always go look for the new egg.

Yep, that's normal. One of my hens makes that noise all the time, not just when laying or nesting.
