Sorry, I didn't realize you had a cat... usually it does come up as part of the conversation and the warning is put out there that it isn't safe for use in cats.
It's 100% safe for chickens and labeled for use ON them. And I don't use anything to "prevent a FEW bugs." I treat when needed to stop an infestation from taking place.
I personally care about the entire environment not JUST my house or animals... I would NEVER spray my back yard with anything and kill off all the bees etc... as asked in your first post.
It's funny that one chemical the home defense is acceptable but the one I mention is the devil somehow... a chemical is chemical is chemical.. organic or synthetic.. Some are less toxic than others.
Still from a friendly and sincere place I offered something that works... I didn't suggest you kill the cat. I suggested something I new was SAFE for chickens... as requested in your OP.
We are also as "chemical free" as possible here. We live with our own septic system and well... everything we do goes into our ground and then our drinking water.
Friendly tones work best to keep a community awesome!
