I would venture to guess that 1/2 of us wouldn't know the difference....I wouldn't pay any attention. I think only an English major would notice or care....

Exactly. I know what you mean so it doesn't matter. And I'm not correcting your posts. I write it the way I write it, but I know what the other way means so communication has been achieved (but someone asked so I gave the answer). And I also know what "dieing" means, though there is no such word.
