Is it a bad idea to get a Silkie? Please talk me out of it.

I want a Silkie ( or 2), but I don't plan on letting them hatch out chicks-ever.
Is that bad?

Good luck with that one. I have fought with my little white hen over this matter and have lost every time.

I love my silkies!! I only have 2 that came in a bantam assortment but they are the cutest chicks!! Mine are so lovable and they remind me of big bird!

I bet you will enjoy them!!!
