Is my cute little Frizzled Australorp a hen?

It doesn't have the roo-ish personality & recently developed some red coloring on her chest, like a BSL hen. that makes me hopeful but since shes frizzled the tail feathers are hard to tell. this is her next to her adopted Bantam Cochin mommy.

I hope youre right! Originally i didnt want her, she was a 'gift' my mom bought for a friend but the friend didnt take good enough care of her & she was getting beat on by the bigger guys. but she's so adorable, i couldnt imagine having to get rid of her now.

Australorp was more of a guess. thats what the mom looked like but was most likely a mix considering where they came from. i knwo the dad was a frizzle though.

I noticed the silkie comb also, the dad may have been sizzle. mom was an australorp though. the lady had caged her up with her eggs after she started laying. she is growing to be standard size so hopefully she will be a big girl so i can keep her...too many roosters already.

i would of guessed it to be a silkie roo cross. the comb looks just like my silkie roos comb.....
