is it a rare to c a northern BW go broody in a raised pen

heres wat my pen looks like
the other side that im standin in has the same things but food n water r on tht side
the log tht the 2 are standing on is hollow with hay inside it for warmth
n lik i said the other side loks the same theres a bigger hollow log w hay inside it for warmth
they hatched in late june
when can i expect them to start laying eggs
and will they go broody

At 3-1/2 months old, won't be any eggs dropped until spring at the earliest. As far as "will they go broody?"....... there may be a "slight" chance one would, given all the natural stuff you have in the pen........(looks good). But, I have all-wire flooring in my pens, and I think that pretty much deters them from getting in a broody mood, but it doesn't matter to me as long as the poop drops right on through so the pen stays poopless.
