My young turk, we call it Sam has started "puffing" up and dragging it's wings. To me this is typical male behavior. My question is do Hens do this too? By "puffing" I mean flarring its feathers and holding down its wings dragging the ground nearly. Also with its head cocked back and chest poked out. I was hoping for a tom but some of the members thought it looked like a hen from some of my earlier pic postings.

That is called struting. It is male behavior, but hens can also do it. A hen can't hold the strut for very long, as a tom can hold it from sun up to sun down never letting it go.

Best to post a pic then we could tell ya 99% for ya

My toms started displaying very early,so if it is still young, it is probably a tom . My mature hens will do it for a short while like Harp Turkey Ranch said.

She swelled up on me yesterday, neck turned bright red and was acting like the flock protector. Do girls do that?
