Is it a Tom?

My young turk, we call it Sam has started "puffing" up and dragging it's wings. To me this is typical male behavior. My question is do Hens do this too? By "puffing" I mean flarring its feathers and holding down its wings dragging the ground nearly. Also with its head cocked back and chest poked out. I was hoping for a tom but some of the members thought it looked like a hen from some of my earlier pic postings.

My toms started displaying very early,so if it is still young, it is probably a tom . My mature hens will do it for a short while like Harp Turkey Ranch said.

Still young. Looks like it could be a hen to me. The head is looking pretty light. Toms at that ages heads are usually a bright red color.

She swelled up on me yesterday, neck turned bright red and was acting like the flock protector. Do girls do that?
