is it actually safe to eat an egg that quit?

I know that food I eat fresh out of the garden isn't "clean"...but at least it's local dirt!

If they have time to count rat hairs, why don't they have time to control the rats?
Clean local dirt is actually teaming with microorganisms, and is a super healthy way to go. Eating carrots fresh out of the ground, that have been wiped instead of washed is a long forgotten, healthy delicacy. Eat away!

I'm not sure who you think is arguing, I think that was over a few pages ago.

Just as I do not eat a chicken I find dead in the coop (even if it wasn't dead a couple of hours ago), I would not eat any food item that I did not know what it died from, whether plant or animal. Animal has the potential to be much more hazardous to your health. So whatever you choose to eat is your choice, but for your health make sure it's healthy before you eat it.
Pretty sure it's been over....we moved on to other gross things

Well glad that's over lol. And yes dirty vegetables are the best. I honestly believe the "grosser" you are the healthier. Now by grosser I mean I don't wash my hands all the time, I play outside in the dirt and then eat some cookies with my bare hands. Wipe em off on my dress and keep going. I pet my goat and then let him bite a chunk off my bannana lol. And the ofcourse give the rest to my chickens.
The only thing I think that's a health threat is human made diseases and creepy crawlys lol and mold. Ferment is good. Mold is baaaaaaad
