We are pretty new chickens; just started last June.

Our girls and roos get flock grower crumble, oyster shell and scratch daily. However, I also give them a bowl of treats each day. Usually this is cooked rice, with corn and chopped up fruits and veggies, such as carrots, apples(no seeds) and bananas, but sometimes tomatoes, chopped up peanut butter sandwich, grapes, etc.(I'm a teacher and the kids always want to contribute if they're going to throw something away, lol)

So, am I doing something wrong? They are probably getting around 1/2 cup each of this stuff per day. They love it(but I know that doesn't mean it's good for the)

None of the things that your feeding sounds bad for them. The key is portion size. Chickens can have treats every day but it should be in small amounts. About 90-95% of their daily diet should be feed and the rest treats or scratch.
