Is it bad to candle too often?

The eggs that I thought were infertil are alive and moving. They are on day 11 now and I can see them moving around inside and slight veining. (brown eggs) I really like to candle but i'm wondering if i should leave them alone? How often should I candle?

Leave well alone. I candel once at 18 days and my hatch rate went well up.

Yes, candling too much is detrimental. It cools the eggs too much too often. Candle at day 7, and again at day 14, and leave them alone the rest of the time to ensure the best chance of hatching.

Making sure they are fertile is the the main reason when hatching. After that I see no reason to, unless you are doing a biology study.
