Hey, Karen, we have a bottle of red wine my DH made....back in 1980! Never drank it, but it smells pretty darn strong. He just wanted to try to make wine, silly man.

I prefer sweet wines, the wine my MIL got me is a Strawberry they make at Tennessee Valley Winery in Loudon, we stopped there to get BIL a bottle, we tasted the 2 Dry Reds, the one that tasted the worse to us is what we got

Mil got 3 bottles of the strawberry we drank one Christmas Eve.

I have never tried making it, but Robin has a mysterious "vat" in her Kitchen , I am betting it is some kind of potent by now

My best friends mom makes Homemade Muscadine wine...It is the best wine I have ever had... Enjoy the new year
