Is it better to keep a chicken inside(If you know what you're doing) or Outside

And i'm wondering if i could keep chickens inside(don't worry i have a big house and chicken diapers,) or outside.

I suppose you could but I think chickens are happier outside where there is dirt and grass and sunshine.
