I lost a 4 week old baby on Sunday and then another last night. They were both fine during the day and died over night. I have third lethargic chick today. The other 7 seem ok. I see no signs of cocci other than the lethargy and sudden deaths. Could it still be cocci? I went ahead and medicated their water just in case, but I would rather not medicate if I don't have to. I am also adding ACV to the water. It is very hot here so my other thought was the heat, but they have a cooler area they can go to and of course being babies, they still need to stay somewhat warm. Thoughts?
