Looks Good!!!!! Great job!!! It looks like there might be a lil un healed spot on her bottom. This is were the yolk sac is absorbed. You might try to add a tiny bit of neosporin or antibiotic cream ( Nothing with -caine in the ingredients!!! or any thing with pain killer/ number- Its poison ti chicks!!!)a lil neo will just keep it moist and from getting infected while it finishes up healing. If its just the umbilicle then it should be fine as is. I really cant see too good from here. LOL But YOU did an OUTSTANDING job!!! Congrats on the Fuzzy Butt!! So Cute!!!

God Bless!

Oh, thanks yesterday I didn't think she'd make it but this morning I was surprised to see that she was up! Oh, and last night the other egg hatched! It's all yellow and has some brown on it's head! SO CUTE! Yes, her vent wasn't so great but this morning it was gone@ YAY! And she can poop! I'll post pics of the other chick here in a minute!

I have a similar brooder set up for newly hatched chicks. If you line the bottom with shelf liner ( the holey stuff) it works great for the first few weeks or even paper towels!

I have a a fuzzy rug under a towel it works pretty good, I couldn't put them rug on-top because it' can't be washed.

I need some cute names for these chicks, any ideas? The other black/blue chick has green feet. The hen they came out of is named "Julia." Hope you enjoyed!
