I have 4 silver laced bantams is it hard to tell if they are roos or hens.

They are silkies.What breed? How old? Most you can tell by 6-8 weeks by comb color.
And just about 4 weeks oldThey are silkies.
I bought them at my local tractor supply which I found out that they were mixing the already sexed chicks when brought in .. I'm not happy about it cause out of 20 I'm quite sure between the 5 different breeds I have 9 roos of the 20 I boughtI've never heard of silver laced silkies. They must be mixes? You definitely will need to wait a bit to sex anything with silkie in it.

That's definitely changes things. You should be able to pick out the boys by 5-8 weeks as their combs will get pink than red fairly quickly. Females will get pink early, but not that early.Oh my I'm sorry I didnt realize I said silkier in this post .. they are silver laced wyandotte
silkier. Store has me so confused ... I started only with road island Red and now have many different but the store employees are the ones who put the names wrong then if that's the case .. I can send you pics of them and maybe you can tell me cause I'm lost in the sauce lol...That's definitely changes things.
