Is it harmful?

My pullets are 12 weeks old now. I have them in with the older girls. My question is this, will it be very harmful for the pullets if they are eating some of the hens layer food? I have it set up so the older girls can't eat the pullets food, but can't think of a way to keep the little girls out of the big girls food. Any thoughts?
