I would suggest getting a bag of layer pellets or layer crumble instead.
Scratch and Peck is great! You just have to make sure they eat the "fines", which contain some vitamins and minerals.
It is a complete feed, just in an unprocessed form. Feed doesn't need to be pelletized to be a complete diet.... I just checked it out online and I don't see any layer pellets in it

this is the feed that should only be fed as a treat in my opinion

should i blend everything up and make a mash?Scratch & Peck does make a layer pellet, though it's more costly than their whole grain feeds.
If you choose to go with the whole grain mash, best to feed it wet or fermented to 1) prevent chickens from only eating favorite pieces 2) ensure chickens eat all the fines (powder) that contain the bulk of protein, vitamins and minerals 3) reduce waste
